PingWest 品玩 5 月 6 日讯，5 月 5 日晚举行的长征五号 B 运载火箭首次飞行任务新闻发布会上，中国载人航天工程办公室主任助理季启明介绍，长征五号 B 运载火箭首飞任务的圆满成功，迎来了载人航天工程「第三步」发展战略任务实施的「开门红」，拉开了空间站在轨建造阶段飞行任务的序幕，为后续空间站核心舱、实验舱发射奠定了坚实基础。

据介绍，按计划，中国空间站将于 2022 年前后完成建造，一共规划 12 次飞行任务。此次任务后，将先后发射天和核心舱、问天实验舱和梦天实验舱，进行空间站基本构型的在轨组装建造；期间，规划发射 4 艘神舟载人飞船和 4 艘天舟货运飞船，进行航天员乘组轮换和货物补给。
